Diputación Foral de Álava governs and administers the province of Álava with powers in different matters such as taxation, social services, road infrastructures, economic development, mobility and policies to promote employment, trade and tourism. The DFA develops annual continuous professional training programs aimed at the unemployed population with the objective of qualifying them in areas of knowledge and skills demanded by companies, and in order to improve their chances of finding a job.
DFA has extensive experience in c-VET training programs and leads the ELMET project to promote new tools that contribute to improve the quality of this training and, above all, make it more attractive to include groups at risk of exclusion
